Role Summary: The Principal Program Manager will lead and drive complex, cross-functional programs within GE's manufacturing and production divisions. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional leadership, and the ability to navigate intricate global operations to deliver successful outcomes. You will be instrumental in shaping program strategy, managing risks, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive program strategy, scope, and objectives in alignment with GE's business goals.
- Lead and manage multiple complex, high-impact programs from initiation to closure.
- Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Foster strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and external partners.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within program management processes and methodologies.
- Communicate program status, key decisions, and challenges effectively to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout program execution.
- Mentor and guide junior program managers and team members.
- Champion best practices in program management and contribute to the development of the PMO.
