Principal Program Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Principal Program Manager to lead and oversee complex, large-scale engineering and construction programs within L&T. This role demands exceptional leadership, program management expertise, and a deep understanding of the E&C industry to drive successful project execution from inception to completion. The Principal Program Manager will be responsible for strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement comprehensive program management strategies for large-scale E&C projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
* Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls, to achieve program objectives.
* Define program scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets, and manage changes effectively.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
* Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, government agencies, and internal leadership, ensuring clear communication and buy-in.
* Oversee the procurement process, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
* Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies throughout the program lifecycle.
* Monitor program performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to senior management.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within program teams.
* Mentor and guide junior program managers and team members.
