Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Private Attorney/Lawyer to join our legal team in Coimbatore. This role is crucial for ensuring legal compliance and managing all legal affairs for our operations in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indian corporate law, contract law, and intellectual property rights, with a proven track record of providing sound legal counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and MoUs.
Provide legal advice and support to various business units on a wide range of legal matters.
Ensure compliance with all applicable Indian laws and regulations, including those related to the education sector.
Manage litigation and dispute resolution processes.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in legislation and case law.
Advise on intellectual property matters, including trademarks and copyrights.
Assist in corporate governance matters and compliance.
