We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Private Attorney / Lawyer to join our legal team in Pune. This role is crucial for managing and advising on the legal aspects of our animation and VFX projects and corporate operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of intellectual property law, contract law, and corporate law, with a specific interest in the technology and media sectors. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing startup in the dynamic Animation & VFX industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including client agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and licensing agreements specific to the animation and VFX industry.
Provide legal counsel on intellectual property matters, including copyright, trademarks, and patent protection for creative works and technologies.
Advise on corporate compliance, regulatory matters, and data privacy laws applicable to the Indian and international operations.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions on complex issues.
Manage and resolve legal disputes and litigation, if any.
Liaise with external counsel and government agencies as needed.
Stay updated with the latest legal developments and industry trends, particularly in the entertainment and technology sectors.
