Private Equity Associate

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Private Equity Associate to join our dynamic team. The Associate will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities within the industrial equipment and machinery sector in India. This role involves in-depth market research, financial modeling, due diligence, and supporting portfolio company management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, corporate finance, and the industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and industry analysis to identify potential investment targets in the industrial equipment and machinery space.
- Develop detailed financial models, including valuation, LBO modeling, and sensitivity analysis, to support investment decisions.
- Perform thorough due diligence, including financial, commercial, and operational assessments.
- Assist in the structuring and negotiation of investment transactions.
- Monitor and support the performance of existing portfolio companies, working closely with management teams.
- Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry participants, advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors impacting the industrial sector in India.
