Job Description
Role Summary: The Private Equity Associate will be responsible for supporting the investment team in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities within the manufacturing and production sector for L&T's strategic investment arm. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and a deep understanding of the Indian manufacturing landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough market research and due diligence on potential investment targets in the manufacturing and production industry.
Develop detailed financial models, including DCF, LBO, and valuation analyses.
Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for the investment committee.
Assist in transaction execution, including deal structuring, negotiation, and closing.
Monitor portfolio company performance and support post-investment value creation initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with industry participants, advisors, and co-investors.
