Problem Management Specialist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Problem Management Specialist to join our Legal Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying the root causes of recurring IT incidents, preventing their recurrence, and minimizing the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented. This role is crucial for maintaining the stability and efficiency of our IT services, which are vital to our legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the investigation and root cause analysis (RCA) of major and recurring IT incidents.
- Develop and implement permanent solutions to prevent incident recurrence.
- Collaborate with IT teams (Service Desk, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management) to ensure timely resolution and closure of problems.
- Analyze incident data to identify trends and patterns that indicate underlying problems.
- Create and maintain problem records, including detailed RCA documentation and proposed solutions.
- Facilitate problem review meetings with stakeholders.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Problem Management process and related ITIL processes.
- Ensure clear and concise communication with all stakeholders regarding problem status and resolution.
- Develop and deliver training on problem management principles and best practices.
