Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Engineer with a background in mining operations to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing and improving mining processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of mineral processing, equipment operation, and process control within a large-scale mining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance extraction yields and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze process data to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
- Design and conduct pilot tests for new processing technologies and methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and environmental standards in mining operations.
- Collaborate with geologists, metallurgists, and other engineers to integrate process improvements.
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare technical reports, process flow diagrams, and operational manuals.
- Manage and oversee the implementation of new equipment and process upgrades.
