Role Summary: The Process Engineer (Mining) will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing mining processes to improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and ensure safety. This role involves working on projects related to resource extraction, mineral processing, and waste management within the context of sustainable mining practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed studies and analyses of existing mining and mineral processing operations.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance recovery rates, reduce energy consumption, and minimize waste generation.
- Evaluate the environmental impact of mining processes and propose mitigation strategies.
- Design and oversee pilot plant operations and scale-up of new processes.
- Collaborate with geologists, metallurgists, and environmental scientists to achieve project goals.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations and safety standards.
