Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Process Engineer (Refining) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing and refining existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, enhance product quality, and ensure safety standards are met. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing principles, problem-solving abilities, and a data-driven approach to process improvement within the electronics manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvements using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
- Design, test, and validate new process procedures and equipment.
- Monitor process performance using key metrics and statistical analysis.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, R&D) to implement process changes.
- Document process changes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
- Train production staff on new or refined processes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality defects and implement preventive measures.
- Prepare reports on process performance, improvement initiatives, and cost savings.
