Role Summary: The Process / Operational Excellence Manager will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across our leather manufacturing operations. This role will focus on optimizing processes, reducing waste, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the production lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and a proven track record in implementing successful operational excellence programs within a global manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic operational excellence programs aligned with company goals.
- Lead and facilitate Lean Six Sigma projects to identify and eliminate process inefficiencies and waste.
- Analyze manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose data-driven solutions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process performance and continuous improvement progress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, supply chain, and R&D, to implement best practices.
- Develop and deliver training programs on operational excellence methodologies and tools to empower employees.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving throughout the organization.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
