Procurement Category Manager

Role Summary: The Procurement Category Manager will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for key categories within the Fitness & Wellness industry for HealthifyMe's Indian operations. This role will focus on sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services crucial to our business growth and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement best practices and the Indian market landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement category strategies for assigned spend areas (e.g., technology, marketing services, operational supplies) aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify potential new suppliers and assess existing ones.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFx (RFI, RFP, RFQ) development, bid evaluation, and supplier selection.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable commercial agreements.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Technology, Operations) to understand their procurement needs and provide expert guidance.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks, ensuring supply chain resilience.
• Track and report on key procurement metrics, including spend, savings, supplier performance, and market trends.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes relevant to procurement in India.
