Procurement Category Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking a Procurement Category Manager with 2-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. This role is crucial in managing and optimizing spend within specific indirect or direct procurement categories, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes and a proven ability to build strategic supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and potential risks.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFx processes, negotiation, and contract management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality and delivery standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide expert advice.
- Monitor category performance against KPIs and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ethical standards.
- Support the development of junior procurement team members.
