Procurement Category Manager - Events & Entertainment

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Category Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for the Events and Live Entertainment category, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of services and goods. This role is crucial in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving value for our organization within the fast-paced entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies for events, entertainment, and related services, aligning with business objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and best practices.
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, tendering, purchase order creation, and invoice reconciliation.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Operations, Finance) to understand their needs and provide procurement support.
- Analyze spend data and identify opportunities for consolidation and efficiency gains.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting the events and entertainment sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the entertainment and live events ecosystem.
