Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and legally-minded Procurement Category Manager with 3-4 years of experience, holding an LLB degree, to join our dynamic team in Delhi. This role is crucial for managing procurement strategies within specific categories of medical devices and equipment, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks and optimizing cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will leverage their legal acumen to navigate complex supplier contracts, mitigate risks, and drive value for Trivitron Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement category-specific procurement strategies, aligning with business objectives and market trends.
Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management for assigned categories (e.g., medical consumables, diagnostic reagents, capital equipment).
Review, draft, and negotiate supplier contracts, ensuring legal compliance, favorable terms, and risk mitigation, with a strong emphasis on intellectual property and regulatory clauses.
Conduct legal due diligence on potential suppliers and ensure adherence to company policies and relevant Indian and international regulations.
Analyze market intelligence and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Quality Assurance, Legal) to understand requirements and ensure procurement aligns with product development and compliance needs.
Manage supplier disputes and resolve contractual issues by applying legal principles and negotiation skills.
Stay updated on legal developments and regulatory changes impacting the medical device industry in India.
