Procurement Category Manager | M.Tech Professionals | Thiruvananthapuram

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Procurement Category Manager with 3-4 years of experience to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of procurement processes, category management strategies, and have a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree. This role is crucial in managing and optimizing spend within specific procurement categories, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services essential for our Facility Management operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies to drive cost savings and value for designated procurement categories (e.g., MRO, IT, soft services consumables).
- Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify potential new suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and contracts.
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, tendering, contract management, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure procurement activities align with business objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs and address any performance issues proactively.
- Analyze spend data to identify opportunities for consolidation, cost reduction, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of procurement best practices and tools.
