Procurement Category Manager (Surat) - 3-5 Yrs

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated Procurement Category Manager with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Surat. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing procurement activities for specific categories within our emerging technologies division. The ideal candidate will leverage their analytical skills, honed through a BCA education, to drive cost savings, ensure supplier performance, and maintain supply chain resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute category strategies to meet business objectives, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and risk mitigation.

- Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify potential new suppliers and opportunities for competitive sourcing.

- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFx development, negotiation, contract management, and P2P operations.

- Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal service delivery.

- Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and forecast future needs.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure procurement solutions align with business needs.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations.

- Support the implementation of procurement best practices and leverage technology for efficiency gains.
