Procurement / Purchase Engineer

Role Summary: The Procurement / Purchase Engineer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for the successful execution of live events and entertainment projects. This role is crucial in ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of all procured items, contributing directly to the operational efficiency and success of our events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for various event-related needs (e.g., AV equipment, staging, ticketing systems, venue services, promotional materials).
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new product/service offerings.
• Prepare and issue RFQs (Request for Quotation) and RFPs (Request for Proposal), analyze bids, and make recommendations for selection.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimal value.
• Manage the entire procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring adherence to company policies and project timelines.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., event managers, operations team) to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards.
