Procurement / Purchase Engineer

Role Summary: The Procurement/Purchase Engineer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for IT hardware, software, and related services. This role involves identifying vendor capabilities, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery, and optimizing procurement costs to support TCS's IT infrastructure and project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT assets and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
• Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and best practices in IT procurement.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors to achieve favorable contracts.
• Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Legal) to understand their procurement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and generate regular reports on procurement activities and savings.
