Procurement / Purchase Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Procurement / Purchase Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team in Mangalore. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively. While formal higher education is not a prerequisite, a 12th Pass with demonstrated practical experience and a keen understanding of purchasing principles is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in identifying and sourcing suppliers for various goods and services required by the company.

Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and compare them based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.

Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible value for the company.

Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and vendor information.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

Assist in inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
