Procurement / Purchase Manager

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Procurement / Purchase Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our procurement operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing raw materials, packaging, and other supplies to ensure the smooth and cost-effective functioning of our FMCG business. This role is crucial in maintaining supply chain efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and ethical practices.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to ensure adequate stock of raw materials and packaging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Quality Assurance) to understand their requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Stay updated with market trends, commodity prices, and regulatory changes affecting the FMCG industry.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies and procedures.
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage the procurement budget and report on procurement performance.
