Procurement / Purchase Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking a Procurement / Purchase Manager with a B.Des degree and 5-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Pune. This role is crucial for optimizing our supply chain and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and equipment for our medical device manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring a unique perspective from their design background to identify innovative sourcing solutions and improve procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic procurement policies and procedures.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, packaging, and capital equipment.
- Analyze market trends and identify potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
- Collaborate with R&D and design teams to understand material requirements for new product development.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Utilize design thinking principles to find creative solutions for procurement challenges.
