Role Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified and analytical Procurement / Purchase Manager with a Doctorate/PhD to lead our procurement operations in Vishakhapatnam. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in procurement, a strong understanding of the industrial automation sector, and a proven ability to drive cost savings and optimize supply chain strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing and procurement plans aligned with company objectives.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost drivers to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value enhancement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply of goods and services.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide timely solutions.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques and research methodologies to support procurement decisions.
- Mentor and guide junior procurement team members.
