Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Procurement & Purchase professional with a Master's degree in Design (M.Des) to join our team in Bhubaneshwar. This role is crucial for optimizing our sourcing strategies, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and driving value in the procurement of diverse materials and services within the import and export domain. The ideal candidate will leverage their design thinking and analytical skills to identify new sourcing opportunities, negotiate favorable terms, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, ensuring alignment with company standards and ethical sourcing practices.
- Develop and implement innovative procurement strategies that leverage design principles to enhance product quality and reduce costs.
- Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, terms, and conditions to secure the most advantageous agreements for the company.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient acquisition of goods and services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including design, production, and logistics teams, to understand their needs and provide effective procurement solutions.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and present findings to management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures in procurement activities, particularly in the import and export context.
- Contribute to the development of sustainable procurement practices and explore eco-friendly sourcing options.
- Assist in the management of supplier relationships, fostering strong partnerships and resolving any issues that may arise.
