Procurement / Sourcing Head

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement / Sourcing Head to lead our procurement and sourcing operations for our expanding presence in India. This role will be instrumental in establishing and managing robust supply chains for materials, services, and equipment essential for our architecture and interior design projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sourcing, vendor management, cost optimization, and contract negotiation within the Indian market, preferably with exposure to the design or construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and project timelines.

Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and vendors, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery standards.

Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize value.

Manage existing supplier relationships, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring performance meets expectations.

Oversee the procurement process from requisition to payment, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.

Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, pricing, and new sourcing opportunities.

Develop and manage procurement budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying areas for cost reduction.

Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems where applicable.

Ensure compliance with all relevant local regulations and ethical sourcing practices.

Collaborate closely with project managers, design teams, and finance departments to understand project needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
