Procurement / Sourcing Head

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement / Sourcing Head to lead our procurement operations. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing sourcing strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services essential for our water treatment and waste management projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Indian supply chain landscape and a proven track record in managing complex procurement cycles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement and sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives and project timelines.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and vendors, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery standards.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable payment terms.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including requisitioning, tendering, purchase order management, and delivery tracking.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry best practices to optimize sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to understand material and service requirements.
- Mitigate supply chain risks and ensure business continuity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement.
