Procurement / Sourcing Head

Role Summary:
As the Procurement / Sourcing Head at Infosys, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives to support the company's global operations and digital transformation goals within India. You will lead a team of procurement professionals, manage key supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with Infosys' business objectives and digital transformation roadmap.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, quality, and service levels.
- Manage supplier performance and relationships, conducting regular reviews and driving continuous improvement.
- Oversee the procurement process for a wide range of IT and non-IT goods and services, including software, hardware, cloud services, consulting, and facilities management.
- Analyze market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement best practices in sourcing and procurement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide effective solutions.
- Drive digital transformation within the procurement function through the adoption of new technologies and processes.
