Procurement / Sourcing Head

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement / Sourcing Head to lead our procurement and sourcing operations for building materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Indian building materials market, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record in strategic sourcing and cost optimization. This role requires a Master's degree in Technology (M.Tech) and 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for all building material categories.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable payment terms.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, conducting regular reviews.
- Monitor market trends, raw material prices, and supply chain dynamics to anticipate potential risks and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Production, Sales) to understand material requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Optimize inventory levels and manage procurement budgets effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
