Role Summary: The Procurement & Supply Chain professional will be instrumental in optimizing Pluckk's supply chain operations, ensuring efficient sourcing, procurement, and logistics of fresh produce. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to manage supplier relationships, inventory, and cost-effectiveness in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for fresh produce, focusing on quality, cost, and timely delivery.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including sourcing, vendor management, inventory control, and logistics.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with farmers and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to minimize stockouts and reduce waste.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, marketing, finance) to ensure seamless supply chain integration.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
