Role Summary: We are seeking a talented and innovative Product Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing new textile and apparel products, ensuring they meet market demands, quality standards, and brand aesthetics. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams from ideation to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ideate and conceptualize new product designs for textile and apparel categories.
- Develop detailed product specifications, including materials, construction, and dimensions.
- Create technical drawings, 3D models, and prototypes using CAD software.
- Collaborate with material sourcing teams to identify and select appropriate fabrics and trims.
- Work with manufacturing and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality control.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform product development.
- Evaluate and test product samples for performance, durability, and aesthetics.
- Contribute to design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
