Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Product Development Engineer with a strong understanding of legal frameworks and product compliance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and 3-5 years of experience in product development, particularly within or adjacent to the building material industry. This role will be instrumental in innovating and bringing new building material products to market, ensuring they meet all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of new building material products from concept to commercialization, considering material science, manufacturing processes, and market needs.
Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies in the building materials sector.
Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and legal teams to ensure product viability, compliance, and market readiness.
Interpret and apply relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental laws to product design and development.
Develop and execute product testing plans, analyze results, and make recommendations for product improvement.
Prepare technical documentation, including product specifications, safety data sheets, and regulatory submissions.
Ensure all product development activities adhere to intellectual property rights and company policies.
Provide technical support and legal guidance on product-related matters.
