Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Head to lead the strategy, development, and execution of our product portfolio within the Packaging & Containers sector. The Product Head will be responsible for driving innovation, market growth, and profitability by understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the packaging industry and a proven track record of product management success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the packaging and containers portfolio, aligning with Amcor's overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities and market gaps.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and concept development to launch, growth, and end-of-life.
- Define product requirements, specifications, and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful product development and commercialization.
- Drive product innovation and identify opportunities for new materials, technologies, and sustainable solutions.
- Monitor product performance, profitability, and market share, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Build and mentor a high-performing product management team.
- Represent the company at industry events and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
