Project Head - Manufacturing

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Head - Manufacturing to oversee and manage all aspects of manufacturing operations for our DTH set-top box production and related electronic components in India. This role will be responsible for driving efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in our manufacturing processes, ensuring timely delivery of products, and leading a team of manufacturing professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic manufacturing plans to meet production targets and business objectives.
• Manage end-to-end manufacturing operations, including planning, procurement, production, quality control, and logistics.
• Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and technologies.
• Ensure adherence to strict quality standards and regulatory compliance in all manufacturing activities.
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs.
• Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers, supervisors, and production staff.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely supply of raw materials and components.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and manage manufacturing budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, and other departments to ensure product development and launch success.
