Project Planner / Scheduler

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Project Planner/Scheduler to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules for various initiatives within our pulp and paper manufacturing operations. This role is crucial for ensuring timely project completion, efficient resource allocation, and effective communication among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project schedules using appropriate planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Define project tasks, dependencies, milestones, and critical paths.
- Monitor project progress against baseline schedules and identify potential delays or deviations.
- Proactively identify risks and issues that could impact project timelines and develop mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather schedule updates and requirements.
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate schedule review meetings and ensure alignment on project timelines.
- Optimize schedules for resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain project documentation related to scheduling and planning.
- Support the implementation of new projects and process improvements.
