Job Description
Role Summary: The Project / Program Risk Manager will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with various projects and programs within Bata India Limited. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful and timely completion of initiatives, safeguarding company assets, and achieving strategic objectives. The manager will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to embed a strong risk management culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks and strategies for projects and programs.
- Identify potential risks (financial, operational, strategic, technical, compliance, etc.) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, including qualitative and quantitative analysis, to determine the likelihood and impact of identified risks.
- Develop and prioritize risk mitigation plans, including contingency and fallback strategies.
- Monitor and track identified risks and the effectiveness of mitigation actions.
- Prepare regular risk reports for project teams, program managers, and senior leadership.
- Facilitate risk review meetings and workshops.
- Ensure compliance with relevant internal policies and external regulations related to risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a proactive risk-aware culture.
- Maintain a risk register and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
- Advise on risk appetite and tolerance levels for projects and programs.
- Support the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans as they relate to project risks.
