Job Description
Role Summary: Indian Railways is seeking a qualified and compassionate Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive mental health services to its employees and their families. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of psychiatric conditions, promoting mental well-being, and contributing to a healthy work environment within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including diagnosis and assessment of mental health disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Provide ongoing management and monitoring of patients' mental health conditions.
- Offer counseling and support to employees facing stress, burnout, or personal challenges.
- Conduct psychoeducation sessions for employees and their families on mental health awareness and coping strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including general practitioners and counselors, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
- Participate in mental health awareness campaigns and initiatives within Indian Railways.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in psychiatric research and treatment modalities.
- Provide consultation to management on mental health-related policies and programs.
