Role Summary: Myelin is seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join our growing team. You will be instrumental in delivering our mental wellness curriculum to students, fostering a safe and encouraging learning environment, and contributing to the development of our educational programs. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about child psychology and mental well-being within the sports and recreation sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate psychology and mental wellness sessions to students.
- Develop and adapt curriculum content to suit the needs of students in a sports/recreation context.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable discussing emotions and challenges.
- Assess student understanding and progress through various methods, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the Myelin team to refine teaching methodologies and program content.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in child psychology and mental health education.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being.
