Role Summary:
HDFC Bank is seeking a dynamic and experienced Publicist to join our Corporate Communications team in Thane. This role is crucial for enhancing and protecting the bank's brand reputation through strategic media relations, content creation, and crisis communication. The ideal candidate will leverage their analytical and communication skills, honed through a B.Tech/B.E. education, to understand complex financial narratives and translate them into compelling public messages. This position is for an individual with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies to support HDFC Bank's business objectives and enhance its public image.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers within the financial services sector.
- Craft compelling press releases, media kits, speeches, and other communication materials, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand messaging.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Manage crisis communication situations effectively, developing response plans and acting as a key point of contact.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, legal, and business units, to ensure consistent and integrated communication.
- Organize and manage press conferences, media briefings, and other PR events.
- Analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns and report on key metrics.
