Pumpman

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pumpman to join our manufacturing team. The Pumpman will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of various pumping systems and associated equipment within our auto component manufacturing facility. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor various types of pumps (e.g., centrifugal, positive displacement) used in manufacturing processes.
- Perform routine inspections, lubrication, and preventive maintenance on all pumping equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, performing necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Monitor fluid levels, pressures, and temperatures, making adjustments as needed.
- Ensure proper functioning of filtration and cooling systems associated with pumps.
- Maintain accurate logs of pump performance, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including lockout/tagout procedures.
- Respond to emergency situations involving pump failures or leaks.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to improve system reliability.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
