Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive / Officer with a Master of Design (M.Des) degree to join our dynamic team in Chandigarh. This role is crucial for optimizing our procurement processes for travel-related goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. You will leverage your design thinking and analytical skills to identify innovative sourcing solutions and manage vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for travel amenities, operational supplies, and service contracts, aligning with M.Des principles of value and user experience.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings based on quality, cost, delivery timelines, and design aesthetics.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to achieve the best possible terms and value for the company.
Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for process improvement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, marketing, product development) to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance standards.
Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and vendor contracts.
Apply design thinking methodologies to problem-solving in procurement, seeking innovative and user-centric solutions.
