Role Summary:
The Purser/First Purser is responsible for the overall safety and well-being of passengers on board an aircraft, ensuring smooth and efficient cabin operations. This role involves leading the cabin crew, managing service delivery, and acting as the primary point of contact for the flight deck crew and passengers during the flight. The Purser plays a crucial role in upholding the airline's standards of service excellence and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the cabin crew throughout the flight.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Manage and coordinate in-flight services, including meal and beverage service.
- Handle passenger inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently and courteously.
- Conduct pre-flight briefings with the cabin crew.
- Perform post-flight duties, including reporting and debriefing.
- Administer first aid in case of medical emergencies.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and appearance.
- Liaise with the flight deck crew on operational matters.
