Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic QA Team Manager to lead our Quality Assurance efforts for Unacademy's cutting-edge E-Learning platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire QA lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, bug-free, and performant educational products. You will manage a team of QA engineers, define testing strategies, and drive continuous improvement in our quality processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Oversee all aspects of the testing process, including functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality is built into the product from the start.
- Establish and maintain QA metrics, reports, and dashboards to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive the adoption of automation testing tools and frameworks to enhance efficiency and test coverage.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in QA and software development methodologies.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring timely and effective bug fixes.
