Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Quality Assurance engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance plans and test strategies for railway components and systems.
- Conduct and oversee various testing activities, including functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
- Define and track quality assurance metrics, providing regular reports on test progress and defect trends.
- Collaborate closely with development, engineering, and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to industry-specific quality standards and regulatory requirements relevant to the Indian railway sector.
- Participate in design reviews and requirement analysis to ensure testability and quality considerations are addressed early.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process, identifying areas for automation and efficiency gains.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring timely and effective closure of issues.
