QC / Lab Chemist (3-5 Yrs) - Ports & Shipping

We are seeking a diligent and experienced QC / Lab Chemist with 3-5 years of experience to join our team at our Surat facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of various materials and processes within our port operations, adhering to strict industry standards. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and a solid understanding of chemical principles, ideally gained through an MCA degree, enabling effective data analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts routine and non-routine chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Develops and validates analytical methods, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Operates and maintains laboratory equipment, including spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and titrators.
- Interprets experimental data, prepares detailed reports, and communicates findings to management.
- Ensures compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations within the laboratory.
- Participates in quality control checks and audits to maintain product integrity.
- Assists in troubleshooting quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Manages laboratory inventory and orders necessary reagents and supplies.
- Stays updated with advancements in analytical chemistry and relevant industry standards.
