Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with a recent LLM degree to join our team in Bangalore. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate looking to apply their analytical and contractual knowledge in the dynamic education technology sector. You will support the procurement and project management teams in ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to contractual obligations for our infrastructure and expansion projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in tender preparation, bid analysis, and contract negotiation for construction and facility management projects.
- Review and understand construction contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and commercial terms.
- Prepare cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BoQ) under the guidance of senior surveyors.
- Monitor project costs and expenditures, identifying potential risks and variations.
- Liaise with project teams, contractors, and vendors to resolve contractual and commercial issues.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, contracts, and correspondence.
- Support in claims management and dispute resolution by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
- Conduct site visits to verify progress and quality of work as per contractual specifications.
- Stay updated on relevant legal and industry standards pertaining to construction and procurement.
