Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Engineer / Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of radio communication systems and related broadcast equipment, ensuring seamless audio transmission and reception for our animation and VFX production workflows. This role requires a strong understanding of RF principles, audio engineering, and broadcast technology within a fast-paced studio environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain radio communication systems, including transmitters, receivers, antennas, and related hardware.
- Operate radio equipment during live broadcasts, recording sessions, and other production events to ensure high-quality audio transmission.
- Monitor RF spectrum usage and troubleshoot interference issues to maintain signal integrity.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs on all radio and audio equipment.
- Collaborate with production teams, sound engineers, and IT staff to integrate radio systems into existing workflows.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant broadcast regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and incident reports.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in radio communication and broadcast technology.
