Radio Engineer / Operator

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Engineer/Operator to manage and maintain our radio communication systems within our retail operations. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless communication across our various store locations and distribution centers, supporting efficient logistics and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain radio communication equipment, including two-way radios, base stations, and repeaters.
- Monitor radio system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and preventative measures to avoid system downtime.
- Manage radio frequency allocation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Train and support store staff on the proper use of radio communication devices.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to integrate radio systems with other communication platforms.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance logs, and system configurations.
- Respond to emergency communication needs and ensure system reliability during critical events.
