Radio Officer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Radio Officer to join our team. The Radio Officer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all radio communication equipment within the company's operations, ensuring seamless and reliable communication for various departments, particularly those involved in remote operations or emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain radio communication systems, including HF, VHF, and UHF transceivers.

Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on all radio equipment.

Diagnose and repair malfunctions in radio communication hardware and software.

Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international radio communication regulations.

Monitor radio frequencies for distress calls, urgent messages, and operational communications.

Maintain logs of all radio transmissions and equipment status.

Train other personnel on the proper use of radio equipment when necessary.

Stay updated with advancements in radio communication technology and recommend upgrades.
