Radio Officer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Officer to join our dynamic team at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories. The Radio Officer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all radio communication equipment on board our research vessels and within our remote research facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring reliable and secure communication channels, vital for the success of our life sciences research and development operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain marine radio communication systems, including VHF, MF/HF, and satellite communication equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all national and international maritime radio regulations and standards.
• Perform routine checks, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on radio equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair radio communication system malfunctions promptly.
• Manage radio logs, records, and documentation as per company and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with ship's officers and shore-based personnel to ensure effective communication.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in radio communication technology and maritime safety.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new radio equipment.
