Recruiting for Airport Duty Manager - Industrial Equipment / Machinery Team

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Airport Duty Manager with 3-4 years of experience to oversee and manage airport operations within our Industrial Equipment & Machinery division. The ideal candidate will leverage their design thinking and operational skills to ensure seamless airport logistics, safety, and efficiency. This role requires a blend of strategic planning and hands-on operational management, focusing on the movement and handling of specialized industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth and efficient operations of industrial equipment handling at the airport, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Coordinate with ground staff, airlines, customs, and other stakeholders to manage the timely loading, unloading, and transfer of industrial machinery.

Implement and oversee operational processes, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness, drawing on design principles to optimize workflows.

Manage and mentor a team of ground operations personnel, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Respond to and manage operational disruptions, emergencies, and unforeseen circumstances, developing and executing contingency plans.

Maintain accurate records of all operational activities, including equipment movements, incident reports, and performance metrics.

Ensure compliance with all relevant airport, aviation, and industrial equipment handling regulations.

Utilize design thinking to analyze operational challenges and propose innovative solutions for equipment handling and logistics.
